The Steady Heart Method™
A comprehensive, trauma-informed discipleship and recovery model that integrates neuroscience, scripture, trauma recovery, and lived experience into a clear, repeatable pathway.
🔹 Wound → 🔹 Awareness → 🔹 Regulation → 🔹 Transformation
Moving women from wound, to awareness, to regulation, to transformation.
Where Wounds Become Wisdom and Wisdom Becomes a Way Forward.
The Steady Heart Method™ started to take shape when I realized that didn't have an anger problem. I had a wound.
For years, I didn't know the difference. I just knew something was wrong — something deep and persistent that I couldn't pray away, think away, or outrun. What I didn't understand was that beneath the anger, beneath the outbursts and the broken relationships and the shame, there were wounds. Wounds of rejection. Of betrayal. Of abandonment. Of insecurity so deep it had become the very air I breathed.
And like water left too long on a flame, it festered. Slowly at first — then all at once. Until one day, it boiled over. And I was left with nothing.
That's when the numbing began.
Addiction has a way of finding you at your lowest and offering you a hand. It feels like relief. It feels like peace. But it is neither. It is only silence before the next storm.
Then someone cared.
Not in a way that fixed everything. Not with answers or advice or a program. They cared enough to introduce me to Jesus Christ — and then they stayed. They walked with me. And because they were willing to walk with me through the wreckage of my own life, I now get to walk with others through theirs.
That is the miracle. Not just that I survived — but that my wounds became a road map back to wholeness for someone else.
Healing didn't happen all at once.
It happened in layers. First, and above all else, through Jesus Christ — the only One who can reach the places no therapy, no program, and no person can touch. But then came the hard, holy work of understanding. Learning what I was doing to start the cycle all over again. Learning to recognize the doors of compromise I kept opening — and why. Understanding how strongholds were being set up in my life and how to dismantle them with truth.
That process required teaching. On rejection. On identity. On forgiveness. On the nervous system. On spiritual warfare. On grief. On boundaries. On belonging. On what it means to have a steady heart.
There was no single resource that held it all together. I had to find the pieces, sit with them, live them, test them — and slowly, faithfully, watch them become a method.
This is that method.
What's Inside the Method?
Week 1
The Wound Behind the Anger™
Anger rarely starts as anger. We begin by uncovering the original wound — the hurt, the loss, the betrayal — that anger has been standing guard over. You can't heal what you won't acknowledge.
Week 2
The Story Behind the Reaction™
Every reaction has a story. Here we examine the narratives you've built around your pain — the ones that feel like truth — and gently ask where they came from and whether they're still serving you.
Week 3
How Trauma Shapes Anger™
Trauma rewires how we respond. This chapter connects the dots between what happened to you and how your nervous system learned to protect you — through anger, shut-down, or explosion. Understanding this changes everything.
Week 4
What's Beneath the Surface™
Beneath anger is almost always something more tender — grief, fear, shame, unmet need. This is where we sit with what's really there and bring it into the light.
Week 5
Letting God Steady Your Heart™
This is the turning point. We bring everything we've uncovered to God — not to perform healing, but to receive it. Biblical tools, prayer, and surrender meet you exactly where you are.
Week 6
Becoming a Person of Peace™
Peace isn't the absence of hard things — it's the presence of God in the middle of them. This final chapter equips you with the rhythms, responses, and identity anchors to carry your steady heart into everyday life.
A WORD BEFORE YOU BEGIN
If this feels overwhelming, try to think of this process in terms of taking the next step, then taking the one after that, and so on. If you try to understand everything you need to know about healing before beginning, you might never take the step of faith that allows you to experience something God wants for you.
Make Healing Possible for Someone Today
The Steady Heart Method™ is the result of years of personal healing, rigorous research, and Spirit-led revelation — woven into one cohesive, trauma-informed, faith-anchored framework designed to help people do what I almost didn't believe was possible:
To heal from the inside out. To stop the cycle. To build a life that doesn't keep falling apart.
Every single penny raised through this page goes directly back into the development of the Steady Heart Method — into curriculum, research, coaching resources, and training materials that will carry this work to every person who needs it.
You are not just giving to a program.
You are giving to a woman who was once left with nothing — who found Jesus in the wreckage — and who refused to keep what she found to herself.
You are giving to the next person sitting in their car wondering if it's too late for them.
You are giving to the mother who doesn't recognize herself anymore. The man who can't figure out why he keeps destroying what he loves. The young woman who has numbed herself for so long she has forgotten what feeling safe even feels like.
Your gift says to all of them: Someone saw you. Someone invested in your healing before you even knew to ask.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." — Psalm 147:3
"I will restore your health and heal your wounds." — Jeremiah 30:17
Every gift. Every size. Every day.
Will you Dare to Hope with us? 💛
